In May 2023, the VDA QMC published a pre-release version of Automotive SPICE® 4.0 on its website together with the draft "Automotive SPICE® Guidelines 2nd edition" (the so-called yellow volume). In November the official versions are published. We took a closer look at the modifications.
First, we summarize the most important changes for you: No more base practices for strategies, additional processes for hardware development and machine learning are just a few examples.
In working groups, we develop what selected changes could mean for assessors and development projects.​

• Assessors, developers, test engineers, project managers, quality managers and other parties involved in development projects in the automotive industry

• Basic knowledge of Automotive SPICE®
