News from intacs® and Automotive SPICE® 4.0

In the middle of next year the new version 4.0 of the Automotive SPICE® Process Assessment Model will be released. The Process Fellows are actively involved in the preparations for this within the intacs® working groups, which have already had to tackle numerous work packages for many months. For example, a great deal of effort is going into updating the new training concept, which is to take into account both the new basic model and various extensions such as cybersecurity, hardware and mechanical development, and machine learning. This should improve the use of Automotive SPICE® by assessors as well as for users in development projects.
