Pitfall "micromanagement in projects"
Micromanagement is an important indicator of an immature organization.
Why is it that large parts of the management are not aware of what micromanagement is, what causes it and what serious effects it can have?
The webinar will answer these questions and show what effects micromanagement has on the motivation of project staff and what effects can be expected on quality and schedules.
We will look at how micromanagement can be safely prevented without loss of control.
1 Dec, 2021, 3:40 p.m.
Speaker: Timo Karasch
Whatever you want! - Challenges in international process management
We work in different countries, in different time zones, speak different languages and live in different cultures. But we are supposed to use the same processes! Will that really work in the future?
"Whatever you want!" can be understood as approval, as subliminal criticism or even resignation. The meaning of the word "process" differs between countries and cultures around the world, and the need for and acceptance of instructions is not the same. However, we have always tried to use standardization to improve our efficiency and to find innovative solutions together; And so it will be in the future.
Based on experience from assessments and process projects around the world, we will identify the biggest challenges. We will learn what it means to be sensitive. And we will discover ideas for our future international process management.
