intacs® Certified
ISO/IEC 33061
Process Expert and Provisional Assessor - combined

The standard path to becoming an intacs® Certified ISO/IEC 33061 Provisional Assessor is through the intacs® Certified ISO/IEC 33061 Process Expert training. In this first part of the training, foundational knowledge is provided: ISO/IEC TS 33061 describes a process capability model aimed at systematically improving the quality of development processes for software-based systems. Capability levels are assessed based on ISO/IEC 33020 and classified into six levels.
The focus is on interpreting the key processes of ISO/IEC TS 33061, which are essential for conducting assessments and implementing process improvements in system and software engineering.
In the second part of the training, participants complete the intacs® Certified ISO/IEC 33061 Provisional Assessor training, which provides practical knowledge and guidance to support a certified Competent Assessor as a Co-Assessor in assessments within their own company or at suppliers, and to optimize processes based on assessment results.
The goal of this combined training is to complete both parts in a single course, allowing participants to achieve the Provisional Assessor certification more quickly. The requirements for both certifications remain the same; therefore, participants receive homework assignments in addition to attending both training sessions, which must be presented in the second part of the training. Active participation throughout the entire training is key to success.
