VDA Automotive SYS Conference 2024 - Three presentations
July 5, 2024
Once again this year, the Process Fellows were participating in the conference on quality and safety for automotive software-based systems as speakers and exhibitors.
Bernhard Sechser, a member of the intacs® Advisory Board, started with an overview of the current developments at intacs®, the International Assessor Qualification Scheme: "The new road to assessor qualification with Automotive SPICE® 4.0 and other PAMs".
Our Fellow Timo Karasch presented the topic "Everything used to be better? - Challenges for modern assessors".
How were assessors trained in the past and what is required of them today? How have assessment processes changed in recent years?
And what challenges are assessors confronted with in current projects?
Our Fellow Florian Schmitt will concluded the event with his presentation "Too busy to improve", in which he questioned the typical situation in many companies where developers simply do not have time for process improvements, but simply have to get the next release ready quickly.
